Description

A pair of cottages dating from the mid-18th century, located on Nazeing Back Lane. The cottages are timber-framed and have been plastered, with a red plain tile half-hipped roof. They are one storey high with attics, and feature a four-window front. The windows are largely C19 and C20 casements with glazing bars. There are five gabled dormers. A plain front door is covered by a simple hood. An original central chimney stack is constructed from red brick.
