Description
Brewitt's Farmhouse is an early 18th-century house located on Nazeing Back Lane. It is constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with red plain tile roofing and a half-hipped roofline. The two-storey house features a symmetrical three-window front. The upper floor has casement windows with segmental heads, while the ground floor has two vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars. A plain central door, with a glazed top and a flat leaded hood supported by brackets, provides access. The original end wall chimney stacks are made of red brick. The brickwork includes the initials "T.B." incorporated into the flared brick headers.
