Description

Clayhill is a house, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with random grey brick headers, and has an old plain-tile roof hipped to the right, with a brick stack to the left. The house has two storeys and a three-window front. A central 20th-century part-glazed door has a flat hood above it. Most windows are 12-pane unhorned sashes with thick glazing bars, except for the ground floor window on the left, which is a 12-pane horned sash. The interior has not been inspected. A two-storey, three-window extension in red brick was added in the 19th century. The building is included on the list for its group value.
