Description
The Oak is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century extension to the rear. The left side of the house is timber-framed with painted brick infill, while the remainder is of painted brick. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there is a brick ridge stack slightly left of centre and an end stack to the right. The house is single-storey with an attic, and has a three-window front. A 20th-century door is located to the left. A 6-panel part-glazed door sits to the right of centre. There are 2-light wooden casement windows to the centre and right, and a 12-pane horned sash window to the left of centre. Three gabled dormers are visible. The interior has not been inspected. Group value is appreciated.
