Description
Farmhouse at Latchford Farm, by the ford on the River Rib, is an early 18th-century building. It features a timber frame with roughcast exterior on a red brick sill and has a hipped old red tile roof that extends down at the rear over an original outshot. The small two-storey house faces south and has a symmetrical front with two windows and a central door. There are two chimney stacks located on the rear walls of the main rooms. The windows are flush two-light casements with small dripboards. The entrance includes a four-panel flush beaded door with glazing in the upper part, framed by a simple doorcase and a flat hood supported by shaped brackets.
