Description
North Lodge and the attached garage at Fanhams Hall, located in the car park to the east of the house, is a building dating from around 1901. It was designed by W Wood Bethell for Richard Benyon Croft as an addition to Fanhams Hall. The structure features roughcast walls with extensive ashlar stonework and steep red tile roofs with cable parapets. It is an irregular, picturesque building with one and a half storeys, where the house faces north and east into the garden, while the garage is situated to the south. The building includes mullioned stone windows with leaded casements, and the garage wing is buttressed, featuring hipped dormers in the roof slope and dark boarded garage doors.
