Description

The ice house at Morley Hall, located 40 metres southwest of the main house, is a garden building dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features remnants of a stucco pilaster at the northwest corner on the west face. The building has a hipped red tiled roof and is small and rectangular, consisting of a single storey. There are two doors at different heights on the north end. A small bust is situated on the ridge of the roof. The storage space below ground is approximately equal to the volume above ground level, although there is currently no structural floor separating the two.
