Description

The ice house, located approximately 50 metres to the north-west of Pool House, dates from the 18th century and is constructed from red brick. It features a barrel-vaulted entrance passage that leads to a domed central chamber. At the time of the survey in June 1986, there was no door present. This ice house has been built within a motte, which is recorded as County A.M. number 273.
