Description
30 and 32 Letty Green is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates back to the 16th century and was floored and heated in the 17th century. The building was extended and altered in the 19th century. It features a timber frame on a brick base with a roughcast exterior and a tiled roof. The structure has a three-bay open hall with a 19th-century cross wing on the right side.
The house is one storey and has an attic, while the cross wing is two storeys. There are two entrances in the hall range, each with plank doors that are sheltered by raking tiled hoods. These entrances lead to ridge stacks with diagonal shafts that were rebuilt in the 19th century. Between the entrances, there is a three-light flush frame diamond leaded light casement window, with two similar two-light windows to the left. The roof has two gabled dormers, and the left end is half hipped. The cross wing on the right has a taller ridge and features one bay of three-light diamond leaded light casements. The building also has exposed plates and purlins, with the right end containing two single-light casements and a secondary entrance on the left end. The interior has not been inspected.
