Description

29 and 31 Pickford Road is a house that was altered into two separate houses shortly after it was built in the early 19th century. It is constructed of sandy red brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and cellars, with a front that is three windows wide and almost symmetrical. The northern front has one central door and another door slightly to the north, with a window below each end window on the first floor. The recessed sash windows are set under flat gauged arches and have 8/8 panes, with cast iron railings in an anthemion design on the first floor sills. The doors are matching 6-panel flush-beaded types with moulded surrounds, linked by a trellis porch that has a tented roof.
