Porters Yard is a 17th-century house located on the south side of Church Street in Great Dunmow. It features a timber-framed and plastered construction with a gabled roof covered in peg tiles. The house is two storeys high and is connected by a through passage to No. 6. The windows are a mix of 19th and 20th-century painted timber casements.
