Description

The Nest is a 17th-century house located on the south side of High Street in Oxted. It features a timber frame set on a rubble and brick plinth, with rendered cladding and a plain tiled roof that is half hipped to the left. The building has two storeys above a basement and includes two glazing bar sash windows on the first floor. To the right of the centre, there is a six-panel door beneath a flat porch hood supported by braces, accessed by a flight of seven steps. Additionally, there is another six-panel door to the left, which is reached by a flight of eight steps.
