Description

Unwins is a shop built around 1870, constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof and a stack located at the rear left. The building has three storeys beneath a gable on the left side, while the right-hand bay is part of London House, No. 81 on the High Street. It features two sash windows on both the first and second floors. The ground floor has a plate glass shop front with fluted end piers and brick dado walling, along with central paired half-glazed doors.

Inside, there is an original late 19th-century panelled counter that includes fluted piers and cast iron Acanthus leaf capitals, along with original shop fittings. The building is included for its group value with London House.
