TL 5416/5516 HATFIELD BROAK OAK CHURCHYARD

6/71 Approx 55m run of walls- north and west of Eden End

GV II

Boundary walls. C17 and earlier of red brick but with some buff and purple laid in English garden wall bond. 'L' shaped configuration but with further short length forming part of the third side of a former court or garden. For most of its length it has a sloping coping and cornice course, but is in part raised in later work. A large later buttress slopes against the west face about midway along its length.
