Description

The drinking fountain, located on Silver Street in Stansted Mountfitchet, dates from the late 19th century, around 1871. It is made of cast iron and features a domed, ornamented canopy supported by cast iron columns with semi-circular arches. The fountain is elevated on a stepped platform that has three steps.
