Description

This drinking fountain, likely from the late 19th century, is made of cast iron. It features octagonal stone steps and a base, with a bowl and fountain situated on a pedestal. The fountain is sheltered by an intricately designed openwork octagonal canopy topped with a cupola, which is supported by slender columns adorned with foliated caps. It is probably the work of Walter Macfarlane & Co from Glasgow.
