Description

This drinking fountain, located on Queen's Park Road, dates from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. It features a low, green painted, cast iron pillar with an attached dog bowl, all set on a square stone base. The fountain has a fluted column with a moulded base and a lionhead mask water spout situated below a roll moulded cornice, which has a ribbed knob to the left. At the top, there is a fluted and domed cap with an acorn finial. The base of the fountain is engraved.
