Description
7 Queens Road is a large villa built in the 1890s, designed in the style of John Allan. It features snecked rubble construction and is situated on a gusset site. The main block is two stories high with three windows, where the ground floor has bipartite windows. The entrance is highlighted by a tripartite doorpiece framed by pilasters. The villa has higher canted bays with uniquely angled roofs, which are supported by twin chimney stacks that have high bulgy copes at the rear flanks. There is also a lower two-story back wing, and the roofs are piended and slated.
