The building has two storeys and features a two-window range of vertical sliding sashes. The central entrance is a boarded door with three lights, sheltered by a flat canopy supported by brackets. There are external red brick chimney stacks on both the right and left sides. This cottage is noted as a good example of its type and is included for its group value.
