Description

Capstones is a house dating from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is timber framed and has a rough rendered exterior. The roof is made of red plain tiles and has two levels, hipped to the left with a hip and gablet to the right. The house has two storeys, featuring a four-window range on the first floor and a three-window range on the ground floor, both with square leaded casements. There is an open, timbered, gabled porch with a red tiled roof, leading to a three-panel door with a light above it. The building is also notable for its three red brick chimney stacks.
