Description
This listing describes a cast iron yard pump located 5 metres behind Mill Cottage in Hatfield Heath. The pump dates from the mid-19th century and is notable for its unusual height. It features a fluted top crowned with a pineapple finial. The pump has a horizontal spout equipped with a bucket hook and a serpentine curved handle. There is a maker's plaque inscribed with the name "Watsons."
