Description

This is a cast iron pump located on the road verge, approximately 20 metres southeast of Fanns Cottage, dating from the late 19th century. The pump features a cap adorned with an acanthus design and a pineapple finial. The handle ends in a knop. Although the maker's name is illegible, the design is identical to a pump found at Peckers Farmhouse, which is attributed to 'E. Watson, SB, B. Stortford'.
