Description

Rosedale is a late 17th-century house. It is timber-framed with lower walls weatherboarded and upper walls tile-hung, topped with a tiled roof. The house has four bays and includes an axial chimney stack positioned one bay from the south end, and an external chimney stack on the north gable end. It has two storeys and a four-window front with 20th-century casement windows. A 20th-century, bracketed, tiled porch shelters double glazed doors. Inside, the tiebeams have irregular curvature, and the roof features clasped purlins and stop-chamfered beams with run-out stops.
