Description

Mr Micawber is a shop premises located on Newport High Street, dating from the 17th to 18th century. This two-storey building features a timber-framed and plastered structure with elements from the 18th and 19th centuries. It has a four-window range of original leaded casements. The ground floor includes an early 19th-century bow shop front with glazing bars at the south end and a later bay window at the north end. A central six-panel door is topped with a cornice hood supported by shaped brackets. The roof is tiled.
