Description

The Old Post Office is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that was altered and extended in the 18th century. The west front has a gable at its north end. The building is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window facade featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. Two doorways are present, each with a hood supported by brackets. The roof is tiled, with two external chimney stacks at the south end and one internal stack located at the north end.
