Description

The Star and Garter Public House is a mid to late 19th century building with a yellow brick front and plastered rear. It stands two storeys high and has cellars. The east front features three windows, while the north front has two, all of which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. The central doorway on the east front is adorned with pilasters and a cornice, and is flanked by two storeyed splayed bays. Additionally, there is one single storeyed bay on the north front. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. This building is included for its group value.
