Description

Spring Hall is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house, which has been altered and extended in the 18th and 19th centuries. The south front is of 18th-century gault brick with a parapet featuring a modillion cornice. It is two storeys high, with a three-window range of double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in plain reveals. The ground-floor windows extend down to floor level and have single vertical glazing bars. A central doorway is present, topped by an ornamental rectangular fanlight. At the rear, there are two projecting wings, and a 17th-century chimney stack is located at the north-west end.
