Description

A small, 4-bay barn, likely dating from the 17th century, stands on the west side of Upper Street in Stanstead. The barn is timber-framed and clad in weatherboard. A noteworthy feature is a brick threshing floor laid in a herringbone pattern. The roof is thatched.
