Description

Old Mill House is a red brick cottage dating from the 18th century or early 19th century, located on the west side of Upper Street in Stanstead. The building is one storey high with attics and features small casement windows. The doors are boarded, with one door having an open gabled hood adorned with ornamental bargeboards. The roof is thatched and includes two gabled dormers, which also have ornamental bargeboards similar to those on the doorway hood. The cottage has one end chimney stack and one central chimney stack.
