Description

Sparrows Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house located approximately 160 yards west of the junction of Lower Street and Upper Street in Stanstead. It is two storeys high with a three-window front, featuring casement windows. A large external chimney stack is situated at the northwest end of the house; it has tabled offsets, with the upper section rebuilt in brick. The roof is tiled.
