Description

Place Farmhouse is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered house that was refronted in the 18th century. Originally, it likely had an L-shaped plan. The building has two storeys and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. A central doorway is adorned with a wood moulded architrave and a flat hood. The roof is hipped and tiled, with a tall chimney stack located at the south-east end. At the rear, there is a wing that extends to the north-east. Inside, the farmhouse showcases square panelling and a plaster ceiling that features moulded ribs and bosses.
