Description

The Crown Inn is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered building located on Brook Street in Glemsford. It features a cross wing at the south end that jetties out on the upper storey. The building has been renovated in the 20th century. The cross wing is two storeys high, while the main block is one storey with attics. Most of the windows are small casements with glazing bars, and at the north end, there is a splayed bay with double-hung sash windows also featuring glazing bars. The roof is tiled and includes one gabled dormer on the main block.
