Description

Fern Cottage is an 18th-century timber-framed and plastered cottage located on the west side of Upper Street in Stanstead. The building has one storey and attics, featuring small casement windows. A gabled porch extends from the front of the cottage. The roof is partly thatched and partly tiled, adorned with three gabled dormers—one of which is thatched—and a central chimney stack.
