Description

Long Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Bournemouth Road in Charlton Marshall. The exterior is roughcast, with areas of banded brick and flint, and has a thatched roof featuring brick stacks at each end. The gable faces the road. It is a one-and-a-half-story building with irregular window placement and eyebrow dormers. The windows are casements with glazing bars. A thatched porch is located on the right-hand side of the cottage. The building is of group value.
