Description
No 276 on Bournemouth Road is a house that may have originally been two cottages, dating from the late 18th century, with the left bay likely built slightly later. The building is rendered and colourwashed, topped with a thatched roof featuring brick stacks at both ends and at the end of the original range. The original symmetrical range is two storeys high with attics and consists of five windows, plus an additional bay on the left. The upper floor has two-light casements with glazing bars, while the ground floor features sixteen-pane sash windows in the main range. There are also two dormers with wrought-iron casements and leaded lights. The original range has a central panelled door.
