Description
Littleton House is a late 18th-century house that has been divided into three dwellings. It is constructed of colour-washed brick in Flemish bond, featuring a chamfered plinth and cornice with alternating fluting and paterae. The roof is hipped and tiled, with brick stacks located part-way along the ridge. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with attics and basements, and has a nine-window range. The windows are 12-pane sashes with elliptical heads made of gauged brick, complete with keystones and impost blocks. The central doorway is framed by a moulded architrave that also includes keystones and impost blocks, and it features a door with six vertical panels, accessed by a flight of stone steps. There is an elliptical fanlight above the door, and a flat porch supported by Ionic columns and pilasters. The left gable of the house has two large round-headed windows.
