Description

This is a pair of semi-detached cottages located on the north side of The Downs in Great Dunmow. They were built in the early 19th century. The cottages have a timber frame that is now plastered, with a slate gabled roof and a shared party wall. A ridge line stack is present. The first floor has three 20th-century double-hung sash windows. The ground floor features one 20th-century double sash window, an early 19th-century double-hung sash window with small panes, and two doors. The cottages are listed primarily for their group value.
