Description

No. 10 Market Place is a restaurant and flats, dating from the 17th or 18th century or possibly earlier. The building is timber framed and plastered, featuring a gabled roof covered with peg tiles and a small ridge line stack at the northern end. The first floor has two double hung sash windows with moulded surrounds and small panels, situated above a 19th-century shopfront that includes scroll-brackets and a flat-topped carriage arch with boarded gates.
