Description

No. 10 Watling Street is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and cellars, featuring a three-window range. The windows are 18th-century double hung vertical sliding sashes with glazing bars. At the north end, there is a modern shop. The entrance is adorned with a flat canopy supported by fretted brackets.
