Description

Fox Cottage is a cottage that was formerly a public house, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior. The roof is thatched, featuring half hips at both ends and a gable end stack at the east end. At the rear, there is a thatched continuous lean-to, along with a black weatherboarded lean-to extension on the east end.

The south front of the cottage has three 2-light 19th-century casement windows with small panes, positioned above two similar windows and an off-centre door that has a flat hood supported by brackets. The roadside end elevation includes a square bay window with small panes. Additionally, there is a large bread oven located in the rear lean-to.
