Description

Rose Cottage and No. 11 are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are timber framed and plastered, featuring a thatched roof that is gabled to the north and half hipped to the south. The cottages are two storeys tall, with a 20th-century flat-roofed rear extension that wraps around the southwest corner.

Rose Cottage has two three-light casements with iron opening lights and leaded glazing on each floor, along with a simple central door. No. 11 is similar but has a single 20th-century leaded light casement on each floor and a simple door. There is an off-centre ridgeline red brick stack, and the simple timber framing is exposed inside.
