Description

These barns, located 20 metres northeast of Shrubs Farmhouse, date from the late 16th century and later. They are timber-framed, featuring black weatherboarding and gabled peg tile roofs. The structure forms an 'L' shape, comprising one large barn and a lower outbuilding. The main barn includes jowled posts and arch braces supporting the tie beams. It has a 'V' strut roof with wind-braced purlins.
