Description

No. 12 and No. 14 on New Street are a semi-detached pair of houses built in the 17th or 18th century. They are timber framed and plastered, standing two storeys tall with gabled roofs covered in peg tiles.

No. 12 features, on the first floor, a two-light casement window and a single-light casement window above a double-hung sash window with glazing bars. It has a simple 20th-century door surround and hood. There is also a 20th-century extension at the rear, which has a skirt of white weatherboarding.

No. 14 has one 20th-century two-light casement window on each floor, along with a 20th-century door surround and hood supported by brackets.
