Description
No. 22 and No. 23 are a pair of houses that were originally a farmhouse (No. 23) and an attached agricultural building (No. 22). They date from the 17th century, with No. 22 undergoing remodelling in the mid to late 19th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and feature a clay tile roof, along with coursed and squared rubble central and integral end stacks.
Both buildings are two storeys high and share the same roof line. No. 23 has two windows, which are mullioned and contain casements, except for the first floor right window, which is a casement. The other windows have chamfered mullions and rebated surrounds. The first floor left window has two lights, the ground floor left window has four lights, and the ground floor right window has three lights. The ground floor windows are topped with straight hood moulds, and there is a central door also featuring a straight hood mould.
No. 22 has two windows with casements and a central boarded door. Both properties have rear extensions.
