Description

Townend Farmhouse is an 18th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, topped with a clay tile roof and featuring squared and coursed rubble integral end stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan, consisting of a two-room main range with a rear wing. It stands two storeys high and includes two mullioned windows, all of which are two-light windows with chamfered mullions and rebated surrounds that contain casements. To the right of the centre, there is a half-glazed door with a bracketed hood.
