Description
Hallows Grange is a house dated 1675, which was remodeled in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a clay tile roof with coped verges and ashlar integral end stacks. The building has a T-shape plan with an extension wing at the rear. The main house has two storeys and an attic on the left side, while the lower two-storey wing is on the right.
The main house has three windows, featuring 16-pane glazing bar sashes. The ground floor right window has two lights with a central flat-faced mullion, while the ground floor left has a four-light casement. There is a 17th-century gabled attic dormer to the right of center, which includes a three-light chamfered mullioned window and a single central light above, all topped with a stepped hood mould.
The right-hand wing has one window with 16-pane glazing bar sashes, similar to the main house, with the ground floor right window having two lights and a central plain mullion. To the left, there is a partly glazed door, and to the right, a stack of circular section.
