Description

No. 7 New Street is a pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the 17th or 18th century. They are constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with a peg tile roof that is half hipped at the southern end. The cottages feature 20th-century casement windows on each floor, and at the southern edge of the elevation, there is an early 19th-century doorcase that includes a flat hood supported by large scroll brackets.
