Description

This is a house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is timber-framed and has been plastered, with a gabled roof covered in peg tiles. Part of the north gable is painted weatherboarding. At the rear, there is a two-storey lean-to with a slate roof, and a single-storey outshot with a similar roof. The upper floor has three double-hung sash windows with moulded architraves and small panes. There are four similar sash windows on the ground floor, and a 20th-century door with its surrounding frame positioned off-centre. The interior suggests an original open hall structure which was later raised to two storeys.
