Description

68 and 70 New Street are a pair of semi-detached houses built in the early 19th century. They are timber framed and plastered, topped with a gabled slate roof. Each house features a central door case with pilasters, a flat hood, a panelled frieze, and a four-panel door. On either side of each door, there are double-hung sash windows with small panes on both floors. The houses have two gable stacks and one stack in the center along the ridge line.
