Birds is a small house dating from the late 15th century or earlier. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building has one storey and attics, featuring a three-window range of casements with small pediments. At the rear, there are three dormers. The house has a central 16th-century red brick chimney stack and a later chimney on the end wall.
